Sushant Singh Rajput wants to marry Rhea Chakraborty

Little birdie brings some bittersweet news. For months now, an interesting rumour is doing the rounds of B-Town about a talented actor and a gorgeous actress. Who are we talking about? As the headline gives away, the stars in the discussion are Sushant Singh Rajput and Rhea Chakraborty. From earlier this year, there have been reports suggesting that the duo are madly-in-love with each other. Although they have their lips sealed, they have been papped and spotted on vacations together often. Remember, their vacay in Ladakh?

However, the word on the street suggests that Sushant is ready to take his relationship with Rhea to the next level. A grapevine has told Mumbai Mirror that things could be getting serious for Sushant and Rhea. The insider has revealed that Sushant wants to pop the question. You know, “will you marry me?” question.

Apparently, the actor is in a hurry to tie the knot with Rhea. He wishes to put his playboy reputation to rest and settle down with his lady love. But (there is always a but!) Rhea does not seem to be on the same page just yet. The diva “would like to take a little time,” the report states.

Rhea has already declared Sushant as her “special one” during her birthday celebrations. Sharing pictures from her birthday, she was seen laughing her heart out while she holds Sushant on one side. The lovebirds posed with their friends. There were also speculations that Sushant had gifted a super-special platinum pendant.

On the work front, Sushant looks forward to the release of Chhichhore. The rom-com drama sees the actor share the screen with Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Sharma. The trailer has impressed fans.
Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor have created quite a buzz with their upcoming film Chhichhore. Directed by Dangal fame Nitesh Tiwari, the college drama will see the stars sporting two drastic looks. While Tiwari’s last outing featured wrestling, Chhichhore involves a variety of sports which the stars and their characters play during their college days. And to keep it authentic, Nitesh Tiwari hired experts to get every detail on point.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Tiwari got special coaches for his actors—Sushant Singh, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Varun Sharma, Prateik Babbar and Naveen Polishetty to perfect their skills in cricket, football, basketball, tennis, table tennis, athletics and even board games like carrom and chess. The stars were more than happy to be training in these sports a source informed.

The film which features a college championship has been inspired from Tiwari’s own college life at IIT-Bombay in Powai. Revealing that sports was an integral part of his life back then, he said, “In Chhichhore, we have inter-hostel sports contests called General Championship aka GC. During my time in college, it was a matter of prestige for a hostel to win GC.”
